Sequel Youth and Family Services Hiring for HR Director Job at Remote Full Time

Human Resources Director serves as a strategic and tactical business partner and is responsible for the overall support of the human resource systems and practices within an assigned division. The Human Resources Director will provide counsel on procedures and policy interpretation, recruiting and retention strategies and employee relations issues. In addition, the Human Resources Director must work in a capacity to ensure objectivity and fairness for employees while supporting the organizations mission, vision and values.

• Collaborates with senior leadership, Human Resource field professionals, managers and employees in understanding the divisional HR goals and strategy related to HR functionalities.
• Manage and track divisional employee relations practices. Maintain a positive employee –employer relationship and promote a high level of employee commitment. Interact effectively with building positive relationships.
• Plan, lead, develops, coordinates and implement divisional policies, processes and training. Initiates surveys and other items to support the organizations HR compliance and strategy needs.
• Provide ongoing line HR management briefing and coaching, though one to one or team learning sessions, to ensure consistent application of policy and adherence to best practices in the management of all people management issues. Conduct divisional meetings as needed.
• Advise and support field professionals in the handling of all complex employee relations matters involving a suspension or discharge. Support the facilities in resolving matters of conflict at the earliest opportunity and providing an independent mediation role where appropriate and to be involved in an advisory capacity in the management of any formal processes.
• Escalate divisional concerns to the Sr. Human Resources Director in relation to HR business risk and other HR related matters.
• Monitor and analyze data including divisional turnover rates, unemployment, recruiting and Workers’ Compensation.
• Manage company-wide HR-related projects and reports

SKILLS & ABILITY:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management, business administration or eight plus years in a related HR field

Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience with a strong background in recruiting, employee relations, and employment law.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS or payroll systems

Certifications & Licenses: PHR/SHRM -CP preferred, but not required. Valid driver’s license

Travel Requirements: This position does require up to 25% travel to assigned programs in various locations.

Other Requirements: Familiarity with and current knowledge of State and Federal law, facility regulations and policies, and other governing body requirements and regulations. Strive to consistently to achieve excellence in all tasks and goals.
