Position Context:
The position supports the HR Team in providing a comprehensive, accurate and confidential HR service for the Middlesbrough and Billingham sites. The HR Support Apprentice will work in a team that includes a HR Manager, L&D/HR Specialist and a Payroll/HR Advisor.
Main tasks :
Duties to include:
Ongoing development programme to learn and support HR team in all aspects of HR including employee relations, payroll, organisation development, L&D, Employee engagement, resource/talent planning and performance/reward.
Apprenticeship will include studying towards a CIPD Level 3 course, which is a great starting point for an entry into a career in HR.
Required skills :
Confident communication skills
Good organisational and planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Good listening skills
The ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent I.T. skills
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Team player with the ability to build effective relationships
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A*-C/9-4
