SEQ is looking for a motivated Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruitment team to help us find and hire talent internally and externally. This role will be on our Technology Recruitment team servicing Capital Markets.
As a leader of SEQ’s team, you’ll be responsible for presenting quality talent to our well known clients. You’ll impact the growth and operations of some of the worlds largest financial firms and have an uncapped potential for earnings.
Team Ownership/Recruitment
– Ensure that the Team us maintaining a robust pipeline of candidates for each role assigned, delegating roles to team members and taking on roles as needed.
– Lead the Development and Improvement of sourcing strategies and research methods that are successful in attracting viable and high caliber candidates. Source candidates using various methods and tools, including the company careers site, social media, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, associations/user groups, and university alumni resources, or industry-specific sources.
– Coach team in building solid relationships with candidates and acting as their advocate during their recruitment lifecycle. This includes; resume editing, interview coaching, championing candidates for additional opportunities and presenting the candidates (both internally and externally).
– Personally handle specific roles assigned to the team, by clients and/or other teams, if said roles require a higher level of recruitment expertise, the team is at capacity for current roles or if a role/pipeline/client is underserved.
– Evaluate candidate skills and understand their motivators; using experience and judgement determine a candidate’s viability to support clients business needs
– Ensure your candidates are prepared for their interview so interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally. Ensure all interview within the team are conducted professionally and efficiently.

– Be a proactive ambassador and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruiting process. Develop creative strategies to identify, attract, and hire candidates from underrepresented backgrounds. Partner closely with clients to build strategies that will build representation among teams
Client Partnership
– Build strong relationships and collaborate with hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and goals. Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure preparedness during the interview process
Qualifications
– 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth corporate or agency environment (2+ Years of Leadership Experience Preferred)
– Strong organizational, project management and creative problem-solving skills
– A blend of curiosity, analytical thinking, creativity, flexibility, adaptability, and relentlessness to drive projects to completion
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
– Creative and proactive thinker who actively seeks solutions and process improvements
– Ability to work in a fluid environment while staying flexible and organized along the way
