Dispatch Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task and remain calm under stressful situations. They have to be able to think clearly and quickly and take action with little supervision. They are the main hub for operations for the Safety Division.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Receive and answer calls for site support
• Receive and respond accordingly to emails for site support
• Proactively address problems and suggest solutions
• Gather information and job details per site specifications
• Assess situation and prioritize calls
• Forward information to Sentry Fire Technicians as needed
• Coordinate schedule in the most effective manner
• Inform field/site techs of changing information
• Update calendar with scheduled job (daily)
• Send out schedule daily for all sites and techs at 4:30pm daily
• Provide reports to upper management
• Other duties as required

Requirements

· Must have a valid G Class drivers license

· Ability to pass a Police Record Check upon offer of hire

· Provide a clean drivers abstract upon offer of hire

· Proven experience working independently as well as working with others

· Ability to multitask

· Outstanding time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

· Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

· Critical thinker

· Strong organizational skills

· Courteous with the ability to build relationships with clientele as well as employees

· High School Diploma

· Be able to work unconventional hours

· Team player

· BSO (preferred)

· WAH (preferred)
