We make and sell products that measure pressure between contacting surfaces. We help mattress manufacturer’s measure body pressure on their mattresses so you’ll sleep soundly. Products like ours help food packagers keep your food safe from infection and spoilage, and the folks who build and test the brakes on your car use pressure sensors to keep your family safe from harm.

We are looking for a Software Developer to manage the data acquisition and image processing application linked to our electronic sensor systems. He/She will play an integral role in our expansion plans. This position will be appealing to anyone who has strong C++ and C# skills and a penchant for scientific computing.

Who we seek:
We are seeking an individual to join our team and serve as a Software Developer. Our project is to refactor and further develop a data acquisition and analysis product that runs on Windows and is used to capture and assimilate data obtained from our matrix pressure sensors. If you’ve used Labview or Dasylab software then you’ll have an idea of the type of functionality and GUI screens we incorporate into our software. Our project is not a database or web related project. Our project is a scientific computing tool that controls remote sensor devices via USB and wireless. Individuals with a scientific computing background or having an engineering degree will be preferred. Our Senior Software Developer will work closely with our Engineering and Product Development team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in coding with C++ and C#
• 3 years of QT experience
• Some knowledge of signal processing, image processing and image analysis
• Extensive experience with collaborative software development and version control software
• Strong familiarity with Qt5+ and Visual Studio 2010+
• Knowledge of API, RESTful API, and SDK
• Familiarity with test driven development (integration testing)
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as GitHub)
• Knowledge of curve fittings using linear/nonlinear regression
• Knowledge of database SQL programming, HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of electronics or strong interest in the field
• Knowledge of drivers and wireless communications with auxiliary devices
• Some familiarity with assembly language
• Position is based in our headquarters in Madison, NJ. No remote work.
• The position reports to our Lead Software Developer
