The Finance Assistant plays a key role in team and business success. The role will report to the financial controller and support tasks that are pivotal to the finance team, completing items in an accurate and timely manner. This will include, but is not limited to, posting journal entries, liaising with stakeholders to bring about an accurate and seamless invoicing process, managing purchase ledger and supporting payroll.

• The minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable experience of working with an accounting system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Numerate and with a high degree of accuracy
• Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft applications, Excel in particular
• Pace and agility to manage conflicting priorities
• Demonstrable experience of taking ownership for organisational tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrable experience of reporting on progress of important tasks and communicating with all levels of stakeholder
• Able to provide a home office and technology required to complete the role
