Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools in the Birmingham area who are recruiting for various Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant roles in their client SEN schools.

These roles can include being a general Teaching Assistant as well as supporting students on a 1:1 basis. This is a really rewarding role where you could be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.

Any experience working in education or with people with special needs is desired, however candidates with no experience will still be considered if passionate, engaging and enthusiastic!

Requirements for the role:

• A passion for working in education.
• Being enthusiastic and resilient.
• Right to work in the UK.
• DBS check or willing to have one

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to the class teacher
• Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
• Ensuring children are engaged in their learning
• Understanding the individual needs of each pupil
• Helping with behaviour management of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
