SENKO Advanced Components Hiring for HR Generalist / Recruiter – $2,500 Signing Bonus Full Time

$2,500 Signing Bonus after the successful completion of 90 days.

Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will assist in running the daily functions of the HR department including recruitment, conducting employee onboarding, employment law compliance and assisting with policy implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Utilizes all manners of technology and available resources and tools including social media for recruitment
• Bi-weekly payroll processing, including multistate payroll tax administration
• Updates and creates documentation for employee changes, new hires and separations to ensure personnel files are complete including signed job offers, job descriptions, evaluations and other related documents, following up with staff to obtain signatures as applicable
• Conducts new hire orientation and onboarding processes, including guiding new staff through the completion of employee paperwork, review of employee handbook, policy discussion and timekeeping instructions
• Performs benefits administration including reconciling invoices, assist with answering benefit related questions from employees, and aids with the annual open enrollment
• Maintain and oversee the Workers Compensation programs
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits regulations, including ensuring legal postings are current
• Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
• Assists in maintaining the employee handbook and communicating updated policies to employees
• Verifications of employment
• File / scan documents into appropriate personnel files
• Evaluates HR processes and technologies to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness, utilizing existing software capabilities and all available resources and tools

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years HR experience required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years recruitment experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• SHRM-CP a plus
• Benefit Administration knowledge preferred
• Regulations Compliance knowledge preferred
