Senior Claims Adjuster – Travel Full Time

As Senior Claims Adjuster you will have responsibility for progressing a caseload or project to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients. Ensuring high levels of service delivery, both internally and externally, whilst maintaining management information under the terms of the client service level agreement.

This role offers remote working but may include travel to a local office for clients or team meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain awareness of relevant client strategies and ensure their effective implementation across cases and projects.
• Research and develop solutions to issues arising on cases or projects, enhancing technical knowledge and expertise.
• Contribute to team revenue through existing business activity and the development of a personal professional network.
• Proactively identify potential issues on cases and deliver effective solutions, consistently adding value to each case or project.
• Manage individual claims proactively from initial instruction through to closure, applying the appropriate level of expertise to each claim.
• Adhere at all times to applicable client reserving philosophies and claims standards, including compliance with contractual service level agreements.
• Demonstrate the Firm’s Winning Behaviours, with a clear commitment to the Firm’s values and CSR agenda.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

• The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience handling Travel claims, including the following:
  • Knowledge of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and international Public Liability claims.
  • Experience managing UK casualty claims, including EL/PL and product liability.
  • Strong technical capability, including policy coverage interpretation and the handling of complex, high‑value Personal Injury and EL/PL claims; often exceeding £100,000 in value.

A minimum of five years’ experience across the above areas is preferred.

• A demonstrable track record of success in delivering strong financial results alongside high standards of client service.
• Strong business acumen with a clear understanding of client needs.
• Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with both external clients and internal colleagues.
• High level of financial and commercial awareness.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail to be able to carefully analyse information
