Cool Cars is a busy and professional bodyshop with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and high standards. We take pride in delivering excellent results for our customers and are looking for an experienced Spray Shop Painter to join our team.
*The Role *
We are looking for a skilled and experienced vehicle painter who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced bodyshop environment. This is not a trainee or learn-on-the-job position. We need someone confident in their ability, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Experience in panel repair, preparation, and general all-round bodywork would be a strong advantage.
*Key Responsibilities *
• Preparing vehicles and panels for paint
• Mixing and colour matching paint accurately
• Applying primer, basecoat, and lacquer to a high standard
• Carrying out paint refinishing work efficiently and accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised spray shop
• Inspecting finished work to ensure excellent quality standards
• Supporting wider bodyshop tasks where needed
*What We’re Looking For *
• Proven experience as a spray painter / bodyshop painter
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, professional, and hard-working
• Able to work efficiently without compromising on quality
• Previous experience as a panel technician or in all-round bodywork is highly desirable
