Sempra Infrastructure Hiring for IT Manager – Enterprise Solutions Full Time

The IT Manager Enterprise Solutions is an exciting role that balances both technical and business skills to deliver Enterprise solutions. This position will lead a portfolio of project, programs, and developers to create solutions that drive business agility across the Corporate solutions space, also is responsible for applications continuity managing the incident and troubles response and conducting change management over the Enterprise Solutions landscape, demonstrating adherence to Systems Life cycle process. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with multiple stakeholders across the organization to understand new demand and enhancements for Sempra Infrastructure’s enterprise applications.

The IT Manager – Enterprise Solutions is responsible for day-to day oversight of Enterprise Solutions landscape operation and its updating. Candidate should have experience overseeing both full time, contract and offshore team members, setting priorities, allocating resources, ensuring delivery against Enterprise Solutions department goals/objectives, meeting commitments, and coordinating overall activities schedule alignment. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance in the analysis, design, and execution to support applications development and maintenance, additionally, is a creative, resourceful, and integrative thinker. The IT Manager – Enterprise Solutions will support the execution of a wide variety of tasks encompassing quality assurance, compliance, control, improvement, integration, and management.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Value Delivery, Strategy, and Planning
• Responsible for application development, support, and maintenance for the Enterprise solutions portfolio (MAX, CRM, TM1, Success Factors).
• Main responsible for maintaining the landscape updated according to providers policies and company standards.
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop new solutions and enhancements to drive business objectives and outcomes.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize delivery of new solutions and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to deliver business value through standardization, business process improvement, organizational change and/or technology integration.
• Analyze project risks, technical debt, and benefits to make appropriate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify emerging technologies and tools to support Business and IT roadmaps.
• Responsible for adherence to system development lifecycle.
• Responsible for functional area budget for both personal and non-personnel costs.
• Responsible for the delivering solutions within the defined project, program or product budget.
• Accountable for vendor management and services management to support Enterprise Solutions landscape.
• Delivery & Execution
• Drive cross-functional teaming to deliver projects and products to the organization.
• Provide technical expertise to delivery teams, provide thought leadership, and solutions to solve complex problems.
• Review of new architectural and development frameworks in collaboration with appropriate Sempra governance bodies.
• Provide leadership and direction to cross- functional area teams, prioritizing, and coordinating projects and activities.
• Assist in researching, reviewing, and recommending new enterprise solutions based on capability and business need.
• Responsible for preparing and presenting to Change Advisory Board for new and enhanced solution deployments.
• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of all projects and activities within the functional area.
• Provide technical expertise to delivery teams, provide thought leadership, and solution to solve complex, often cross-functional, problems.
• Accountable for ensuring all projects and activities within the functional area meet compliance and architecture standards.
• Provide oversight and ownership for functional area solutions and artifacts.
• Advocate for re-use through implementation of shared technology assets
• Responsible for IT General Controls design, testing and execution including the evidence generation to comply with ITGC control tracking, for all systems and technical solutions under area scope.
• Accountable for delivering information and evidence required by audit, SOX, risk, cybersecurity, or any other regulatory entity.
• Main responsible for solving audit findings and vulnerabilities for all the system and technical solution under area scope.
• Primary point of contact and liaison with Software account manager and support teams (Microsoft, IBM, SAP, etc).
• Leadership & People Management
• Coach and mentor team members and enable individual development, training and performance goals.
• Work with cross-functional IT and enterprise teams to build alignment and model high performing team behaviors.
• Responsible and accountable for functional area leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution Provide direction, motivation, and strategic oversight of the functional area.
• Responsible and accountable for select aspects of performance management, training, and development.
• Provide guidance on maintaining work/life balance, including 1-on-1’s, career development, and roadmap activities, to ensure that employees receive effective feedback and development opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
• Fiscal/Budget Responsibilities
• Budgetary responsibility. Oversees management establish and administer the annual budgets and manage expenditures to operate within the approved budget.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ related experience managing solution delivery and/or enterprise architecture.
• Technical Skills & Knowledge:
• Deep understanding in Microsoft AX functionality, architecture and configuration, IBM TM1 functionality, architecture and configuration, Microsoft CRM, SAP Success Factors, SAP EC-payroll.
• Knowledge in the following solutions is desirable: Enterprise Content Management and Business Process Management solutions.
• Extensive experience conducting development, configuration and maintenance for Microsoft AX, Microsoft CRM, IBM TM1.
• Extensive experience conducting SAP development and maintenance areas, including ABAP and Java development and BASIS support, including changes and functionality promotion across SAP landscape.
• Proven experience managing and interacting with SAP support areas, setting-up and tracking support tickets, familiar with scalation process for SAP S4/Hana and subscription products.
• Proven experience managing and interacting with Microsoft and IBM support areas, setting-up and tracking support tickets, familiar with scalation process for Microsoft and IBM products.
• Ability collaborating in Business Requirements development and generating the technical specifications associated.
• Proven vendor management skills and negotiation, managing priorities, ensuring project deliveries, quality and SLA’s compliance.
• Experience supporting project execution under waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding on testing process, inputs required and expected outcomes.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in Mexico and USA.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in the functional area with ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Outstanding management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities, exceptional skills to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change as well as dealing efficient deal with escalations and difficult. situations/people under pressure e.g. to restore services.
• An overall understanding of the business objectives of service lines and Core Business Services departments.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Proven experience managing third party services and SLA’s compliance.

• Standard certifications in any of these products Microsoft AX, IBM – TM1, Success Factors, EC-Payroll, Microsoft CRM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
