Seminole Tribe of Florida Hiring for Transactional Accounting Analyst Job at Hollywood, FL Full Time

The Transactional Accounting Analyst is responsible for running weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, for all areas under all Transactional Accounting that includes Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Travel. The incumbent assists with transactional accounting project needs, and other accounting and financial transactions, including some Purchasing functions (when requested), as necessary. The position will also function as an interdepartmental trainer for all transactional accounting areas. Performs reconciliations and prepares reports in preparation of year-end 1099 reporting. Prepares month end and year end Budget reports for transactional accounting managers. Associate’s Degree in accounting or finance is required.

Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of prior Lawson System experience is highly preferred. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software package including intermediate knowledge of MS Excel. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal and detail oriented skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate a 10-key by touch equipment. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to drive to Seminole Reservations when necessary. Must be able to work a flexible workschedule including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet tight work deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
