Seminole Tribe of Florida Hiring for Student Success Specialist Job at Hollywood, FL Full Time

The incumbent in this position is responsible for collaborating with other departments of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, including but not limited to, the Center for Behavioral Health, the Recreation Department, and the Boys & Gils Club in order to assists with the development, implementation, and assessment of services and programs aimed at empowering students toward success and significance. Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration, College Student Personnel, Counseling or closely related field, with previous experience in academic or student success work in a K-12 or post-secondary setting. Master’s Degree is preferred. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaboration skills and must be a proven problem solver who understands the culture and trends surrounding students identified as at-risk for attendance and academic performance skills. The Student Success Specialist must be able to develop and maintain effective, and empowering relationships with students from diverse backgrounds as well as faculty, staff, parents, and the public. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must be able to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,147.58 – $68,988.02 per year
