The incumbent in this position is responsible for advanced clerical/bookkeeping work involving the application of accounting principles in the keeping of fiscal records within the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Natural Resources Department. The work involves difficult financial record keeping work, requiring the exercise of judgment within general guidelines. Graduation from high school or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in advanced bookkeeping and/or the maintenance of fiscal records is required. A comparable amount of training, education and experience as a substitute of the minimum qualifications may be considered. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
