Responsibilities
ยท Assist Talent Acquisition Specialists with sourcing, screening, scheduling internal /external candidates and completing background/employment reference checks and updating Applicant Tracking Systems. Evaluates results and communicates to Talent Acquisition Team
ยท Review completed employment applications for accuracy and completion; and set up online assessments for job candidates; respond and resolve job candidate questions regarding testing and other issues that may arise during testing sessions
ยท Handle new hire paperwork processing, verifying proper completion of forms, ensuring acceptable documents and identification are provided, and follow up with new hires regarding missing documents and/or forms
ยท Professionally answer all incoming calls and respond to or filter calls as able regarding requests, questions, or problems, usually comprised of inquiries regarding the recruitment process, web site information, interview appointments, and other Human Resources (HR) related information. Redirect calls or take messages as appropriate
ยท Back up to Human Resources staff in general office duties as needed
ยท Provide back-up support to Talent Acquisition Specialists in communicating with prospective candidates regarding verbal and written offers, counter offers, accept/decline offers, etc.
ยท Perform additional duties and projects as directed by management
Qualifications
ยท Bachelorโs Degree or equivalent years of work experiences required
ยท Minimum two (2) years general HR/recruitment office experience required
ยท Intermediate skill level in Outlook required; Applicant tracking system (ATS) experience required
ยท Excellent interpersonal and communication skills โ oral, written, and listening; professional appearance and ability to maintain the confidentiality required of the organization and department
ยท Prior experience working in a Human Resources department, staffing agency or experience working in a Union environment a preferred
ยท Must be able to work independently and be a team player; excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, and flexible
ยท Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees Funds, the Union, vendors, and the public
ยท Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, multi-task, make sound judgments, management time effectively and prioritize work assignments
ยท Professional appearance and excellent oral/written communication skills a must to accurately and professionally communicate with management, applicants, and employees
