Segway Powersports Canada Hiring for Truck Driver at Baltimore, ON Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be punctual with good time management skill; they will be a holder of a Clean Drivers Abstract and possess an up-to-date CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Ontario Registration). This is an “on call” position, requiring someone who is flexible and able to report to work in a moment’s notice. The Driver many be required to work nights and weekends and complete overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver products to our customers (dealers) within distribution territory of Ontario and Quebec) using our company 48ft flatbed trailer

Safely transport all products which will include Segway Powersports Canada ATVs, UTVs, and SSVs and parts

Complete any paperwork required and maintain detailed logs

Conduct daily vehicle inspections, perform emergency roadside repairs and report any problems

Represent Segway Powersports Canada professionally

Adhere to laws on commercial vehicle operation as per Federal and provincial laws as well as company rules

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection

Work at night and on weekends

Maintain an organized travel schedule and Utilize navigation apps to find the most optimal route.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years work experience as a Truck Driver

Trucking school diploma

Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB etc)

Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

No recent moving or driving violations

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations

Must possess a Class AZ license

Able to operate Any truck/tractor trailer combination

Experience transporting powersport units an asset

Ability to handle heavy equipment/loads

Possess an up-to-date CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Ontario Registration
