We are part of the Special Educational Needs and Inclusion Service and Education Excellence, and we believe that every child has the right to a high-quality education. An opportunity has arisen to join our committed and creative team as an Education Coordinator.
Working as an Education Coordinator, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that each young person has a robust personal Education Plan (PEP) that enables them to be happy, heard and to achieve
• Forming excellent relationships with schools, colleges, carers, social workers and other service providers to provide guidance, challenge and support to ensure a cohesive and aspirational approach to supporting the education of Looked After Children
• Prompt intervention when difficulties arise to ensure that each child has the support they need to stay on track
• Quality assurance of the PEP to ensure that targets are clear, evidence based and aspirational, and that the young person is supported and challenged to make excellent progress
