The Role

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are a passionate, tech loving, social media savvy, Recruitment Expert and Social Networker. In this hybrid role, you focus on full cycle recruitment and building critical skill pipelines. You play an integral role in supporting an impactful employer brand to increase our talent attraction efforts around the globe. You know what good looks like for Seequent talent and you know how to find it. Whilst your primary focus will be the EMEA regions, you will also think more globally to share expertise and ideas and, where needed, support in global hiring events. Reporting into the Senior HR Business partner, with dotted line responsibility to the Talent Acquisitions and Insights Team Lead.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• In conjunction with the Talent Acquisitions and Insights Team Lead, manage and improve the full cycle recruitment process for jobs around the globe, including drafting role descriptions, job ads, and pre-screening;
• Manage hiring managers and other stakeholders’ expectations to ensure a timely pipeline of candidates relevant to each vacancy;
• Ensure applicants and candidates’ expectations are met and that they experience a consistent, compliant experience that also safeguards Seequent’s reputation and legal recourse;
  Enhance and train key stakeholders on our high-quality screening and selection process, continually testing for effectiveness;
• Effectively utilise all systems and processes;
• Create and manage an exceptional Candidate Experience, including for the candidates we don’t hire!
  Build Seequent’s talent pipeline, identifying internal and external talent and recruit through various channels;
• Where necessary, engage and manage positive relationships with agencies, ensuring Seequent receives optimum care in recruitment;
• Own the employee referral programme, providing appropriate tools and support to staff to make the referral process, professional and straightforward;
• Utilising resources available, create and execute innovative Employer Brand strategy;
• Attend both in-person and virtual career fairs to attract candidates;
• Act as the social media “Brand Ambassador”; Manage the employer brand through effective social media, including Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Seequent’s career page. Look for innovative ways to promote Seequent;
• Research and develop content for various industry employer/culture awards;
• Acquire, report, and leverage competitive intelligence for hard to fill roles;
• Play an active role in building company culture through the organization of social networking events
• Serve as a subject matter expert in local job markets, interpreting trends and compensation packages;
• Create and manage post-secondary recruitment initiatives (co-ops, interns, career fairs and scholarship initiatives).

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

• This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in full-cycle, high volume recruitment within a medium-sized corporate environment. 3 to 5 years of agency recruitment experience as well is an asset;
• Diploma in Human Resources or related field or achievement of or working towards an HR Professional designation;
• Demonstrated ability to deliver creative and innovative proactive candidate sourcing strategies and techniques, including a successful track record of sourcing passive candidates;
• Demonstrated customer-focused attitude with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including candidates, hiring managers and HR colleagues;
• Strong understanding of the area of recruitment, related practices, tools, trends, job boards, Human Rights and other applicable legislation;
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS);
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter;
• Demonstrated experience working and delivering within a medium scale corporate transformation environment;
• Passionate, tech loving, and social media savvy;
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence the thinking and actions of others; able to motivate and align a team to execute on deliverables;
• Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality and teamwork;
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment;
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision;
• Effectively expresses ideas and conveys information in business writing, conversations and interactions with others that make an impact and persuades the intended audience;
• Strong relationship builder; proactively identifies needs and creates strategies to proficiently deliver results;
  Ability to take appropriate action as needed and prepare for possible contingencies; applies data to drive decisions and continuous improvement;

A requirement of this role is to obtain and maintain a significant knowledge, competence and capability global Talent Acquisition practices. SEEQUENT will invest in providing you with training at various levels. Whilst skill and proficiency at the highest level will be recognised and rewarded, it is expected that team members will actively participate in formal training and self-learning exercises.

Travel
SEEQUENT will pay for and arrange travel to the various locations to carry out the role. This will include provision of business development, training sessions and project assistance.
