Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, riders, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public agency personnel, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe public areas, and document security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional presence at a government transportation location by providing directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with orderly movement of people during routine operations and/or service disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
