Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM – 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Assist with de-escalation support during tense situations, provide directions and information to guests, and follow post orders for medical campus operations and after-hours coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
