As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Detail in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe conditions across the location.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, visitor guidelines, and/or after-hours procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
