Job Description

As a Security Officer in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.65 / Hour

Minimum 2 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, parking areas, ATM surroundings, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
• Support closing and opening activities, inspect doors, gates, and other entry points, and complete required reports related to daily patrols, incidents, and/or shift activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
