As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry points, check credentials when required, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
• Support site operations by following post orders, maintaining a visible armed presence, and preparing clear, timely reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
