As a Security Officer Evening Patrol in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for tenants and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while assisting with access control activities, visitor interactions, and/or property rule awareness in support of daily site operations.
• Prepare routine reports on patrol activity, incidents, and/or notable conditions, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
