Securitas Inc is Looking For Full Time Security Guard – Airport at Toronto, ON Full Time

Securitas Canada is currently recruiting security personnel for a client in the aviation industry. You do not need to have an MLEO licence to apply as we will be assisting with MLEO licencing. However, be open to possible positions at Pearson in the future. This role would be primarily parking enforcement with patrols through parking areas of the client site including providing authorization to contactors and visitors, proactively searching for vehicles parked in prohibited areas or vehicles not displaying proper parking passes. You will issue parking fines through the City of Mississauga. You will enforce parking bylaws and ensure that visitors are aware of these laws.

Location: North York

Pay Rate: $20.29/hr

Job Duties:
Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.

Patrols on foot and dispatch duties.

Issuing parking tags to illegally parked vehicles and arranging to have cars towed.

Investigate parking complaints from client or its employees.

Prepare and process the appropriate paperwork in response to various requests and s submitted by members of the community or Parking Enforcement Officers

Escort contractors and visitors to their destination when needed.

Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following prior to an interview:

Valid Ontario Security Licence

Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate

G Class Drivers Licence required

Police Foundations Diploma is considered an asset but not required.

2 years of security experience in a tactical or high profile security role.

Parking enforcement experience is an asset.

Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
