At the Securitas Technology Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE), projects are designed, engineered and commissioned to the highest of industry standards to meet our clients’ unique needs.

The Director Engineering Center of Excellence will hold the following Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of engineers and engineering managers for pre and post sales costing and design.
• Perform regular reviews of engineering backlog to ensure all projects are on schedule and within budget.
• Perform engineering resource planning to align engineering resources and skillsets with sales and operations targets.
• Implement measures and processes to recruit and retain engineering staff.
• Oversee development and implementation of design and manufacturing standards for engineering and pre-fabrication.
• Lead client tours for the Engineering Center of Excellence in Elmsford, NY.
• Set goals and targets for engineering staff and create s to measures performance against goals.

Skills / Abilities :

• Knowledge of design / build engineering processes and construction submittal packages.
• Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and physical security standards.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data.
• Proficient using AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and Revit design tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• At least ten years of related experience required.
