Secure Trust Bank Hiring for HR Advisor at Cardiff Full Time

We are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join our Cardiff based team at V12 Retail Finance and support a broad range of generalist activities.

The role

As HR Advisor you will support the V12 Retail Finance business and STB Group HR Team through the effective delivery of HR operational and administration activity.

You will provide colleagues and line managers with best practice advice and guidance on company policies, terms and conditions of employment and employment legislation. This a broad role with the opportunity to gain exposure and experience to a wide range of People related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Provide HR advice and support on Employee Relations cases, including; probation review meetings, absence management cases, investigations, flexible working requests, capability and disciplinary hearings.

Provide HR advice and support on all Family Friendly requirements, including; maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.

Deliver line manager training sessions, including HR Masterclasses, line manager induction sessions and workshops.

Produce timely and accurate Management Information and analysis for relevant stakeholders.

Manage the V12 HR inbox, liaising with other internal teams in order to provide a response to all queries within SLA.

Assist line managers and the STB Recruitment team with recruitment interviews and recruitment system support as required.

Audit Performance Management Documents and advise line managers on best practice.

Support the delivery of recognition schemes at V12 Retail Finance, including probation celebration sessions and the monthly administration of Be Valued Awards.

Take an active role in the delivery of Group HR Objectives and projects as outlined in the HR plan.

Other reasonable duties to assist the business as requested.

What you will bring

You will have held a similar advisory role, ideally within a financial services setting, with hands on experience of delivering HR support in a range of Employee Relations cases, ensuring the right outcomes for both the business and individuals.

You will ideally hold a level 5 CIPD qualification although equitable experience in role will also be considered.
