Second Step Hiring for HR Assistant at Bristol Full Time

Working in a busy environment you will be working on the full range of HR administration covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, leavers and contractual changes.

About the role:
You will:
Be the first point of contact for employees and managers

Provide on-going support to the HR Team

Maintain employee records in line with GDPR requirements

Generate HR correspondence to support HR processes

Manage administration for monthly payroll

Be responsible for onboarding administration including seeking references, right to work evidence and DBS checks

About You:
To hit the ground running we want you to have:
A minimum of 2 years proven experience carrying out confidential office administration in a busy office environment

Experience of using MS Office packages i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and Teams/ Zoom or similar.

Strong Customer service skills

Excellent attention to detail

Familiarity with a HR information system

Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important tasks.

Proven experience of successfully communicating with a variety of internal and external of people and be a good team player.
