POSITION SUMMARY:

As, the Internal Recruiter, you are the go-to person who will advise hiring managers and own the recruitment strategy to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience.

We are looking for an Internal Recruiter to support multiple business lines and scale hiring across North America. You will partner with Human Resources and Senior Management, to build dynamic teams across our expanding markets. This role will provide essential input to recruiting strategies to ensure that optimum candidates are recruited for every position to maximize positive impact in this rapidly growing organization. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic planning to develop, improve, and innovate how we attract and recruit the best talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and execute a full life-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through the final offer stage with minimal oversight
• Maintain company recruiting sites by ensuring posts and company information is up to date and candidates are responded to in a timely manner to provide a positive candidate experience
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through initiative-taking, market research, and on-going networking to help meet the high staffing demands of rapid company growth
• Build positive relationships with internal leadership to better understand resourcing needs for each location and department to bring in top talent to the organization
• Use market knowledge to advise Hiring Managers on most effective strategies to maximize positive influence regarding candidates decision to join our organization
• Recommend initiatives and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, including implementation and enhancement of standard processes for recruiting that consistent with Second Avenue’s mission and growth strategy
• Stay informed of external market factors affecting business areas; identify new recruiting practices and trends
• Interview candidates within the position specifications and have strong ability to screen viable candidates
• Screen resumes, conduct prescreening interviews (by phone, video, or in person), and administer appropriate assessments as appropriate
• You will be responsible to understand and translate the business needs of clients with vendor partners and team members
• Facilitate effective decision making through presentation of key information and recommendations
• Manage real-time inquiries while keeping track of and responding to commitments to follow up with inquiries
• Enter information into our database and ensure consistency and accuracy
• Provide creative solutions to meet client needs and maximize value
• Contribute to the business strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes

IDEAL CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS AND BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
• Minimum of 4 years recruiting/hiring experience
• Experience and knowledge of direct sourcing strategies (e.g., job boards, referral generation, online social networking, etc.) to proactively build candidate pipelines that generate sufficient quantity and quality to meet business needs in a cost-effective manner
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
• Organizational and time management skills
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing
• Ability to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
• A positive and adaptable approach to problem solving
• Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment, competently handling demanding deadlines
