Sebastian Construction Group LLC Hiring for Assistant Project Accountant Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

SEBASTIAN CONSTRUCTION GROUP, a 73-year old Dallas-based general contracting/construction management firm, is looking for an Assistant Project Accountant for our Dallas location.

The Assistant Project Accountant is responsible for working collaboratively with the Project Manager’s to capture and manage all project data to ensure accurate invoicing, and to oversee the financial management of the assigned projects.

• Help to respond to Client questions and concerns in a timely manner.
• Accurately enter all sub-invoices and bills into ERP.
• Track all sales and use tax and prepare invoices as required.
• Maintain consistent communication with subcontractors to help them prepare and submit their billings.
• Process check requests – sub invoices/bills each week for utilities and other invoices as directed by the PM.
• Prepare accounting package for each subcontractor explaining company procedures.
• Coordinate Lien process, if required.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Adobe and MS Word required
• Ability to meet strict deadlines while performing multiple priority tasks
• Problem solver with strong communication skills
• Team player
• Self-starter
• Professional demeanor
