Our Finance Technicians assist across Finance areas of Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting, Retail and Online Finance Support, Stock Accounting, credit Control and System Accounting to meet business requirements. This is an opportunity for someone AAT Level 2 qualified, or relevant experience with invoicing and working with suppliers, to build your career within a fast moving and growing retail business.

Please note as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role can be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations and remotely, subject to the individual’s choice and agreement with the line manager. Further details can be discussed at interview.

You’ll help us by;

• Establishing suppliers and customers in accordance with internal processes
• Managing purchase ordering & receipting systems and providing reports
• Managing the flow of invoices through the accounts payable process
• Managing relationships with suppliers and responding to supplier queries
• Ensuring that suppliers comply with the Seasalt procurement policy
• Ensuring records are correctly updated between B2B solution and AX
• Establishing suppliers and customers in accordance with internal processes
• Managing the purchase ordering & receipting systems and providing relevant reports
• Managing the flow of invoices through the accounts payable process

The skills you’ll be sharing with the team:

You’ll be AAT part-qualified or have relevant experience with purchase ledgers and supplier invoicing. A naturally numerate and analytical person, you’ll have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving and following processes.

A confident communicator across all mediums, you’ll work well within a team while also being able organise and prioritise your own workloads. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a given, while experience working with Microsoft AX would be beneficial.
