The Role
This is an excellent development role working for the central HR team, reporting to the People Director. You will be the first point of contact for any people-related queries for colleagues across the business, including in-store, and at Head Office.
A primarily Employee Relations-focused role, you will provide timely, accurate, consistent HR advice to colleagues, across various matters including absence, sickness, disciplinary, grievance, maternity/paternity policy, bereavement, starter/leaver process and more.
In addition, you will monitor and produce relevant HR-related MI data and reports, write and update HR policies and support on HR projects as required.
The person
The successful candidate will have some experience of Employee Relations in a busy HR department, ideally within a similarly fast-paced sector such as Retail, Logistics, FM, Construction or Manufacturing.
Ideally you will have or be working towards a relevant CIPD qualification, and you will receive ongoing support for this.
Equally as important are your excellent interpersonal communication skills across all formats (face-to-face, telephone, video, email and letter). You will be adept at coaching and influencing at all levels, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
