About the Role:
Located in Fawkner and reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is covering ANZ scope to provide reporting and analytic support to Commercial Management in support of business improvements. This will require working collaboratively with sales, marketing, portfolio, equipment, supply chain and broader finance team to affect the best outcomes.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1) Analysis and Reporting including:
- P&L reporting and commentary, ad hoc reporting requests
- Providing information for various management reviews
- PMVE analysis and reporting
- Sales and Margin analysis and reporting
- Expense analysis and reporting
- Inventory analysis and reporting
- Freight analysis and reporting
- Ad hoc reporting requests
2) Compliance
- Asset management including maintenance of CAPEX / PPM
- Revenue Recognition Compliance
- MoM / QoQ / YoY analysis and reporting
3) Corrective Actions / Improvement Projects / Back Up for Supply Chain Analysts
4) Month End Closing responsibilities including- journals
5) WAVE, Growth Program and Sector Reporting
6) S&OP / AOP / STRAP – developing sales, profitability, and expense forecasts
About the Person:
- The person needs to have an Accounting Degree
- Sound command of Accounting standards and systems
- Reporting and presentation skills.
- Communication skills both verbal and written.
- Business acumen
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving ability
- Strong computer skills in Excel
- Knowledge of the SAP software system (Financial) desirable
- Relevant experience in packaging/food industry is desirable.
