Seakeeper Inc Hiring for Employee Experience Lead at Fort Myers, FL Full Time

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Our people are at the core of everything we do, they are what makes Seakeeper truly remarkable! As our Employee Experience Lead, you’ll be the voice of our people, driving engagement and being laser-focused on how we can make our employee experience the best it can possibly be. You’ll challenge the status quo and ask, “Why not?” when it comes to unconventional ideas that will positively impact our teams. This is the very early stages of the Seakeeper Ride team, so you’ll get the opportunity to play a critical role in building the cultural foundation we will continue to build on for years to come! You’ll make an immediate impact on the quickly growing Seakeeper Ride team by:

• Driving an employee-centric mindset across our business and contributing to our People Strategy as it relates to overall employee experience, engagement, and culture
• Contributing to, executing, and supporting all employee experience programs including, but not limited to, onboarding, offboarding, development training, employee activities & events, employee recognition, and listening initiatives

• Developing effective relationships with team members and people leaders to promote positive employee relations throughout the organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement and positive employee experience
• Partnering closely with our Talent and Benefits & Compliance teams to ensure alignment and clear communication between the groups
• Being a trusted confidant of both leadership and our employees, offering constructive, fair, and candid guidance on employee relations
• Wearing a second hat of administrative support by welcoming guests and overseeing the office operations of our Ft. Myers facility including ordering and stocking supplies, making meeting preparations, preparing items for shipping, managing third-party contractors and office services, and assisting with executive travel plans as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

MUST-HAVES

• 3+ years of experience in employee experience and engagement
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Be honest, sincere, fair, and consistent with a willingness to say the hard things if it will help someone succeed
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable, willing to pivot quickly and do what needs to be done
• Warm, inviting personality, with the ability to work well and connect with people at all levels
• A willingness to meet people where they are and get into the sticky stuff that naturally comes with working with a diverse group of people
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to “read the room” and react accordingly

• Ability to build strong relationships and work well with others, both within your team and with other partners internally and externally
• Be self-motivated with unquestionable integrity and have superior time management, multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills
• Be a self-sufficient problem solver who takes pride in their work

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience in the marine industry and/or an interest in boating
• Experience running an office

• This is a new, never-before-had, role and you’ll have the opportunity to make it your own
• This is a full-time onsite role based in our Ft. Myers, FL office

• There could be some travel to various industry events and employee outings but will be less than 10%
• You’ll to the VP of People, Culture & Brand
