Job Description

Our goal is to blow our customers away with the world’s greatest customer service. To that end, we are currently seeking motivated customer service representatives to help us exceed our customers’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Professionally respond to customer inquiries

• Acknowledge receipt on incoming inquiries
• Ensure that items are accurately translated to our internal systems
• Work with suppliers to find competitive sourcing options
• Create attractive offers for our clients

Coordinate supply of orders on board vessels

• Transmit all sales orders to the warehouse for processing
• Ensure that the order is 100% fulfilled by remaining in constant communication with warehouse team

Coordinate the goods incoming from vendors

• Ensure that arrangements have been made for the goods to arrive in time to supply
• Work with courier services to cost-effectively land goods

Above all, always provide the absolute best customer service

• When time is critical, pick up goods at vendor locations yourself
• Visit crew on board vessels to ensure they are happy with the service they received

On-call Evenings and Weekends

• Every third week
• Respond to customer calls and requirements on weekday evenings
• On Saturdays, work from the office to ensure that all weekend work is planned and executed
• On Sundays, remain on call but report to the office only as needed.

Skills, Abilities and Experience

• Three or more years of experience in dealing with Purchasing, Sales, and Logistics.
• Experience in Marine, Industrial or Automotive parts distribution considered an asset.
• Team member, demonstrating a high level of Integrity and Credibility.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Negotiation Skills and Strong decision making abilities.
• Ability to learn new concepts and adapt to changing situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• A valid Drivers License.

Salary: From $50,000.00 per year
