About our group:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the EMEA team. Based in Springtown, UK you will report into the Talent Acquisition Manager for EMEA and have responsibility for supporting full cycle recruitment in Springtown (and some operational recruitment tasks across wider EMEA as required)

About the role – you will:

• Be a true Talent Advisor to hiring managers and candidates while coordinating recruitment programs for internal and external vacancies across the EMEA region
• Partner with the hiring managers to fill roles in the following skillsets: Operations, Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing, etc.
• Partner with hiring managers to build compelling job descriptions and robust assessment materials aligned to our Behavioral Based Interviewing (BBI) framework
• Build strong relationships with hiring teams and HR colleagues in Springtown and across EMEA
• Maintain agreed metrics
• Candidate Management – you will screen and shortlist candidates against the specific criteria outlined on the job description and ensure that all records are updated on the recruitment system in a timely manner
• Candidate Engagement – ensure that all candidates are treated fairly and equally, receive timely and regular updates as required, ensuring all candidates have an excellent recruitment experience with Seagate
• Sourcing – using multiple sourcing channels including social media to identify and pipeline talent
• Advertising – manage job board /Seagate careers advertising ensuring adverts are compelling and accurate and positioned for maximum effectiveness
• Employer Branding – you will work with Global Branding and EMEA Internal Communications team to support on employer branding initiatives across the region
• Data Reporting – provide robust recruitment metrics to track application numbers, source, time to offer etc.
• Attend external events to promote and support Seagate as an employer of choice (eg) careers fairs
• Work closely with colleagues in HR Central to manage interview and offer processes

About you:

• Passion for recruitment and a genuine desire to provide an exceptional candidate experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to build strong and effective relationships, across all levels in the organization
• Strong influencing skills

Your experience includes:

• Working in a busy HR (Human Resources)/Talent Acquisition function with a strong talent acquisition lens
• Internal corporate recruiting experience (global company preferred)
• Applicant Tracking Systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and comfortable with data reporting/metrics management
• Directly engaging with hiring managers and candidates
• Naturally creative and innovative with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to do things differently, create efficiencies, challenge current practices for greater longer-term return
• High level of adaptability given the diverse nature of projects and stakeholders across the region
