We are seeking a Talent Acquisition professional with experience in staffing management and recruiting to lead our recruiting team in the EMEA region. This position will be based the UK and will provide extensive interaction with Seagate’s HR (Human Resources) & talent acquisition teams, executives, and hiring managers.
About the role – you will:
Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners across multiple EMEA locations to cover professional hiring throughout the region.
Support Talent Acquisition (TA) strategies and programs – assist the Director TA, Americas & EMEA in executing recruitment strategy, executing professional hiring initiatives, and driving achievement of goals on a multi-regional scale
Collaborate with business functions and ensure the regional TA recruitment team supports hiring
Counsel and guide TA Partners to ensure Seagate’s competitive positioning, including review of metrics & scorecards to assess performance and overall program effectiveness
Build relationships that will enable Seagate to hire the best available talent
Influence branding and marketing strategy and identify multiple access points to reach candidates
Promote Seagate professional hiring through various advertising channels and social media such as university career sites, LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs, etc.
Work with Business Unit leaders & talent advisors to plan, organize and execute professional recruitment events
About you:
Extensive TA/Recruiting team management experience
Proven ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders and manage varied relationships
Strong business acumen, leadership, mentoring, facilitation, and coaching skills
Thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, while being a standout colleague with validated abilities to multi-task and navigate change
Must be comfortable with ambiguity and be a resourceful, savvy professional that is committed to finding solutions and making an impact
This role requires working collaboratively, effective communication, a heightened attention to detail, superb organization, and collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders across the globe
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence, inform and guide others
Your experience includes:
Leadership experience within a matrix-based organization structure
Demonstrated success supporting professional hiring in a TA organization
Demonstrated record of successful executive interactions and consulting skills
Ability to prepare presentations for various staff and executive meetings
Strong analytical skills to manage, interpret, and present data to internal stakeholders and executives
Technology savvy in the use of TA related applications / tools (e.g., SAP, CRM, LinkedIn).
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
