Requirements for Staffing Coordinator:

• Scheduling experience preferred

Job Duties for Staffing Coordinator:

• Provides a monthly nursing schedule; coordinates the daily scheduling needs with staff and agencies to ensure adequate levels of staffing for all nursing units
• Ensure staffing to meet patient/resident needs
• Assure minimum staffing on unit and all staffing problems to Director of Nursing Services and Director of Human Resources
• Provides accurate documentation of staffing use on daily sheets, schedule and agency log
• Works in collaboration with the Nurse Managers and Supervisors to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
• Provides weekly staffing roster to the Nursing office in a timely manner.
• Assists in maintaining accurate attendance records weekly including record of sick, vacation or LOA time.
