SCRUFF Hiring for HR Intern – London Covent Garden (37.5 Hours) at London Full Time

We are looking to hire an innovative HR Intern to join our rapidly growing Head Office team. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of HR practices and initiatives through hands-on experience as you will benefit from the support from a close-knit HR team.

Some of the essentials for you to know are:
Role: HR Intern

Location: Our office in London Covent Garden

Hours: 9am – 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

• Work closely with the HR team to execute the processes within the employee life cycle such as onboarding, internal mobility, performance management activities and off-boarding;
• Process new hires, terminations and change requests within our agreed SLA via our HRIS System (Workday)
• Support with the tracking of employees’ right to work in the UK including EU Settlement checks
• Managing the HR Inbox and responding to queries
• Managing the tracking of probation end dates
• Respond to external reference requests in a timely manner
• Support with general administration as required

• HR Degree/relevant qualifications (Desirable)
• Adaptable: Able to be decisive and respond quickly to changing conditions or requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential information and to prioritise;
• Good use of Microsoft Office – Powerpoint, Excel and Word
