Job Description

We are looking for a visionary Director of Education to lead Ecole V, our wine school and education content brand. Your mission is to lead a team of curriculum developers and educators delivering inspiring wine, food, and sustainability classes in person and online at VIVANT. As a leadership team member, you will be responsible for the overall Ecole V roadmap, organization development, sales and marketing, and business plan.

The right candidate will have extensive experience creating and delivering educational content in the real world and online and in the management and scaling of a successful education brand and business. Professional wine education at a high level is a requirement for the position. Responsibilities

Conceive and execute Ecole V’s global education offering roadmap in wine, food, sustainability, and related topics

Recruit, lead and manage a global team of world-class curriculum developers to create original Ecole V Masterclasses that take our VIVANT members further in their pursuit of inspiring wine and food education.

Continue to build our relationship with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and fulfill the role of Ecole V’s WSET Nominated Educator, ensuring the smooth operation of our WSET programs.

Keep your finger on the pulse of changing consumer trends, gather feedback continuously improve our education offerings.

Continue to build the global Ecole V brand awareness, including designing and executing omnichannel marketing campaigns and communications to grow sales.

Set, monitor, and manage the quarterly and annual business plan and OKRs and regularly report on results.

Participate as a member of the VIVANT Leadership Team collaborating on the global strategy, growth planning, and organization development

Regularly audit existing educators and provide them with concrete feedback and actionable to ensure our offering is best-in-class

Qualifications

University Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Management, or similar field

WSET IV Diploma (DipWSET), WSET Certified Educator is a plus

8+ years of experience developing and delivering education content

Completely fluent in English speaking and writing

Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and inspire teams

Proven, dynamic, and energetic leader with a demonstrated track record of business performance and team growth

Evidence of business planning acumen and of being a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement processes and plans

Ability to critically think, problem-solve and present solutions

Team player: track record of relationship building with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders

A demonstrated ability to think creatively about a variety of challenges contribute positively at a leadership team level

An entrepreneurial, get it done mindset

Obvious passion for building, selling, winning, and of course, wine
