How this position fits at Scrapbook.com: Full-time, M-F, In-House

As the Social Media Coordinator, you will work on-site, full time, at our headquarters in Gilbert, Arizona. The mission of the Scrapbook.com Social Media Coordinator is to execute the planning, scheduling, and overall messaging and engagement on Scrapbook.com’s social media channels.

Core priorities are as follows:

• Will work closely with the Growth Dept Managers for strategic and creative direction to ensure the priorities regarding social media, marketing and promo-schedule are being executed flawlessly.
• Will develop a variety of empowering and on-brand content for social media marketing strategies, while adhering to priorities and always seeking critique to continue to improve.
• Will coordinate and assist with the production of unique and empowering marketing initiatives (such as Livestreams, TikTok and more). This content should attract and convert customers by inspiring and solving their problems.
• Will keep ROI in mind when gathering resources and supplies for marketing and social media initiatives.
• Will proactively utilize the studio and create content to support the promo schedule that will empower and attract our core demographic (i.e. photos, videos and more).
• Will maintain and update the Articles/Blog Section as directed (i.e. longform articles, blog posts, re-writes, event pages and more).
• Will take on other jobs as assigned.

Your Capabilities:

Communication – Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Will be open, direct, clear, and kind when communicating and collaborating with colleagues, customers, designers and brands.

Project Management – Holds self and others accountable to goal dates and objectives, is on time, and consistent with responsibilities. Will proactively reach out and ask, “What can do I next?”

Organization – Impeccable organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask. Able to plan and prioritize so that the most important items are accomplished on time.

Computer Skills – Is proficient with computer programs, applications, spreadsheets, photo editing tools, analytics, and industry trends.

You Meet the Following Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5+ years of social media or content development experience in a business setting
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Meta, Metricool)
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• A passion for paper crafting preferred
