The Role
The main purpose of this role is to provide an effective, efficient and professional HR administration service throughout the full employee lifecycle via various contact channels to all employees across the ScottishPower UK Business.
You’ll deliver a professional and consistent administration service covering the employee lifecycle to HRSS customers, both internal and external, using HR systems (Oracle, SAP and Neocase) and HR processes and procedures effectively in line with agreed service levels and ensuring compliance with all Company and Regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
Day to day tasks:
Tasks for this role will include:
⦁ Deliver a variety of HR administrative activities covering the employee lifecycle (such as processing new starts, making salary adjustments, loading training events, maintenance of authorisations and terminations).
⦁ Using HR systems (such as Oracle, SAP, Neocase, HR E-filing & Authorisation Management System (AMS) to accurately maintain employees HR records.
⦁ Follow internal HR processes and procedures effectively in line with agreed service levels and ensuring compliance with all Company and Regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
⦁ Adopt a flexible approach by working in a cross skilled administration environment to develop skills and knowledge which will ensure that all transactions within the team are completed in an accurate and timely manner in line within the agreed SLAs as defined and cross checking work within the team to ensure accuracy.
⦁ Keep up to date with Company HR policies, procedures and processes, providing feedback to support the identification of common issues and the development of potential improvements to internal processes or ways of working.
⦁ Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across the wider HR function.
⦁ Fully embrace new and existing HR technology, identifying and suggesting improvements to team processes and ways of working to harness this as much as possible.
Skills and Experience
We would like you to come with:
⦁ Strong PC skills including working knowledge of MS office applications
⦁ Strong customer focus, with experience of working in a customer facing role
⦁ Experience of working in a high volume transaction processing environment and working to service level agreements
and/or targets
⦁ Previous experience in an administrative role and/or HR environment
⦁ Strong time management and organisational skills including ability to prioritise and ability to work to tight deadlines
