The purpose of our area is to attract, recruit, identify, develop and deploy the talent Scottish Water will need to both perform and transform. Our team does this by equipping leaders with the skills, knowledge and attributes to ‘lead with character’ and developing our talented people to reach their full potential.

The Role

This is an exciting time for learning and talent development in Scottish Water as organisational learning, leadership development and talent development will be front and centre in the achievement of our strategic plans and ambitions. Working as a Learning and Talent Development (L&TD) Consultant you would work collaboratively with leaders, employees and project teams across our business, helping them to design and implement bespoke learning and talent development solutions.

To be effective in this role you will have previous L&TD experience and will have demonstrated your ability to work with a diverse and broad range of internal and external stakeholders; implementing, project- managing and delivering learning and talent solutions. As a learning practitioner you will also have a strong and demonstrable focus on your own personal learning and development as well as the development of others.

Job responsibilities may include:

• Work collaboratively with the Learning and Talent Leads to design bespoke learning, leadership and talent development solutions that support transformation initiatives.

• Support our Learning & Talent Partners and leadership teams to embed our leadership and talent frameworks, systems and processes

• Collaborating closely with our employee experience team to ensure diversity, inclusion and belonging remain central to our approach to leadership and talent development

• Support the central learning and talent team s with the design and implementation of learning, leadership and talent initiatives

• Encourage leadership teams to identify, develop and ‘deploy’ our talented employees across Scottish Water

Location: Flexible across Scotland

Salary: Band C (Circa £30 – £34k per annum, depending on experience)
