Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration (SCRA) Hiring for Payroll/HR Systems Officer at Stirling Full Time

The Children’s Hearings System provides the operational setting in which SCRA and our partner agencies work. The aim is to provide a safety net for vulnerable children and deliver tailored solutions which meet the needs of the individuals involved, while helping to build stronger families and safer communities.

You will support the Payroll Lead in the management of SCRA’s payroll service including the provision of management information and administrative support to enable the delivery of effective, efficient and customer focused payroll service. Holding a certificate in Payroll Practice or willingness to work towards this. Experience of payroll administration, monthly and year end processes using itrent e-hr system, or other HR and payroll software and the skill to produce reports and statistics.

You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with all business partners and system/service providers. You will have excellent numerical and information management skills and the ability to pay attention to detail and work to fixed deadlines.

All SCRA posts are subject to a probationary period of 6 months or the term of the contract if shorter.

This post is subject to PVG clearance by Disclosure Scotland. It is normal practice to appoint at the minimum point of the salary scale.
