A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for finding and ensuring equipment and driver availability, using them to the maximum efficiency by monitoring freight movement, communicating with drivers, and all other departments and parties connected with freight movement.

Scott requires that all applicants have one of the following :

• 4-year college degree, preferably with a Business major.
• 2-year college degree, preferably with a Business major.
• 4 consecutive years of verifiable work experience with the same company.
• 6 consecutive years of verifiable work experience within the same industry with a maximum of 2 different companies.

We prefer previous experience in freight movement services and / or customer service for the position of Logistics Coordinator.

• Ability to multi-task, work under moderately stressful situations and meet deadlines
• Excellent telephone skills (inbound and outbound)
• Self-motivated personality, with an eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of internet, email and other software
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
