Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia Digital’s Digital Business Operations Office department in Toronto, Ontario ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Oversee the end-to-end contract process. Actively identify and provide recommendations / ideas for process improvements.
Has accountability for the performance and results of the contract and hiring process, and provides reporting and updates to management accordingly.
Assist hiring managers with Scotia Digital hiring approval process, and provide management with consolidated, annotated reporting of the hiring program’s progress.
Support the overall success of the team with various tasks and process contracts as needed.
Take full responsibility for all inquiries, concerns, and complaints directed to him / her by resolving those matters within their discretion to the internal client’s satisfaction or by referring to the appropriate source.
Work with Recruitment team and Hiring Managers to ensure timely updates of reports and dashboards.
Supervise and manage large and complex administrative operations including obtaining approvals, consolidating, and tracking metrics. while simultaneously responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Digital Business Operations Office team’s objectives, goals, and key milestones.
Project support – You will work closely with Digital Business Operations team members and partners, leading a variety of projects and providing support as needed. Includes organizing lunch & learns for Hiring Managers.
Maintain SharePoint pages and process documents.
Relationship building/management – you will build and maintain great working relationships with Digital users, external vendors, and other stakeholders across Scotiabank.
Assist the Manager of Contract Operations as well as the Senior Manager of Business Operations with delegation and duties and step in to support as needed.
Report any process breakthrough and issues to higher management and provide valuable strategic resolutions.
Possess leadership capabilities and behaviors, may have supervisory responsibilities coordinates the execution of assigned workstreams and projects for the team.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Strong knowledge of operations management and excel.
