Role Description
The Atlassian Administrator will own and support Atlassian products within the company’s Atlassian account while helping the team deliver the best solutions using the latest Agile methodologies. This role will support the overall Atlassian product administration across the org and will also be the go-to person for any Atlassian issues, enhancements, and best practice questions. This role analyzes the needissue, defines the best solution, and facilitates the successful implementation of complex solutions through hands-on work, interfacing with all appropriate resources and creating other materials to support the process.
Typical Work Day at theScore:
JIRA/Atlas/Confluence setup that aligns with Agile best practices
Conduct user-training and help sessions for new and existing custom features and implementations
Manage system access and permissions configurations to ensure compliance and enforce best practices
Support tasks such as maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, evaluating new plug-ins and Jira upgrades
Monitor Atlassian health status, and keep everyone informed of any outages or performance issues
Clean up stale/unused workflows, issue types, projects, dashboards, etc.
Configure, roll out, and maintain multiple Jira projects, workflows, schemes, project and portfolio settings, user groups, roles, and reports
Implement Jira automation rules to support seamless process creation
Create, manage, and support for leveraging Atlassian REST/automation for users to automate manual processes, implement business processes and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes
Create Jira-based reports, dashboards and planning views based on different user requirements, and provide stakeholders with actionable project metrics and status reports
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
2-4 years of previous experience in a fast-paced Agile environment
Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Experience documenting requirements artifacts, performing impact analysis, and rolling out process changes
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm to help others
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience customizing Atlassian products with various schemes, complex workflows, permissions configurations, and notification strategies
Ability to write custom JQL
