Score Academy is hiring an English Teacher. In our small classroom/one-on-one environment, this teacher will be completely student-focused, because our learning environment is so personalized. Our teachers not only make a pedagogical difference in their students’ lives, they also provide emotional support to students. Our goal is to foster in students their critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and at the same time be continually aware of each student’s emotional needs.

Principal Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• One-on-one or small group instruction in English for the following classes:
• English I – English IV

• AP Language & Composition
• AP Literature & Composition
• Flexibility and adaptability to personalized instruction and/or small-group classes

Additional compensation for evening and weekend tutoring is available.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required for consideration, with demonstrable emphasis in English
• Teaching credentials are a plus, but not mandatory.
