Scoot Education is working with a partner school in the Prescott area that needs special education Teachers that can make an impact in a high school setting. You will be working within a self-contained environment.

A successful Special Education Teacher will:

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

• Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments

• Collaborate with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student

• Prepare timely progress reports for each student

• Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports

You’ll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• AZ Department of Education Special Education certification

Pay: $53,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
