Scoot Education Hiring for Special Education Teacher (K-3rd Grade) – Resource Job at Glendale, AZ Full Time

One of our K-8 partner schools needs a Special Education Teacher working in a Resource capacity. You will be working with Kindergarten to 3rd Grade students with the currently open caseload.

A successful Special Education Teacher will:

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

• Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments

• Collaborate with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student

• Prepare timely progress reports for each student

• Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports

You’ll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• AZ Department of Education Special Education certification

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• Cross-Categorical or Mild-Moderate certification (Required)
